COLUMBIA — Missouri volleyball player Junior Caitlyn Vann was named the Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

Vann, the Tigers' libero, was recognized for committing only two service reception errors in 54 chances last week in matches against Iowa State and Baylor. She also made 34 digs and is only 23 digs short of becoming one of Missouri's top-five digs leaders.

The Tigers play next against Colorado on Wednesday in Columbia.
