JEFFERSON CITY — Three more people have been charged in a Jefferson City home robbery that left one of their accomplices dead from a gunshot.

Court records show charges of second-degree murder, first-degree robbery and armed criminal action have been filed against Kansas City residents Leetez Hawkins and Anthony President.

A charge of first-degree robbery was filed against Damisha Weaver of Kansas City.

Six people now face charges in the Monday morning home invasion in which Lamar Gardner, of Kansas City, was fatally shot — apparently accidentally by one of his fellow robbers.

No attorney was listed yet for Hawkins, President or Weaver. Attempts to contact them Thursday were unsuccessful.

Authorities have said about $1,000 was stolen from the home.
