COLUMBIA — The two newest members of the University of Missouri Board of Curators were joining the 10-member board for the first time Thursday.

St. Joseph newspaper company president David Bradley and former state lawmaker Wayne Goode were appointed in July by Gov. Jay Nixon. They replace curators Don Walsworth of Marceline and Cheryl Walker of St. Louis.

The curators' agenda includes consideration of a new film studies degree at MU. Curators will also review the internal audit plan for the four-campus system.

Committee meetings take place Thursday, with the full board to meet Friday.
