Columbia College volleyball team stays unbeaten in AMC

The Columbia College women's volleyball team stayed undefeated in American Midwest Conference play with a  25-16, 25-16 and 25-14 victory at Park University. The victory moves the Cougars to 33-2 overall and 15-0 in conference play.

Cate Eckhardt’s 12 kills and three aces led the Cougars, who are ranked No. 7 in the latest NAIA Top 25 poll. Maria Omondi, who was named this week's NAIA Volleyball Player of the Week, added 10 kills and three blocks, while Paula Ferreira contributed 36 assists.

Columbia College plays its final regular season contest at 7 p.m. Thursday at Stephens College.
