Columbia College sweeps Stephens in both volleyball team's final regular season match

COLUMBIA — Columbia College swept Stephens College 25-7, 25-14, 25-9 on Thursday, closing out each volleyball team's regular season.

The Cougars' 16-0 mark in the American Midwest Conference gives them the No. 1 seed in the AMC tournament beginning Tuesday. They will host a quarterfinal match beginning at 7 p.m.

Stephens College ends their season at 8-28.

The Cougars, No. 7 in the latest NAIA national poll, finished the regular season at 34-2 overall.
