Post offices, state offices closed for Veterans Day

Tuesday, November 10, 2009 | 12:01 a.m. CST

COLUMBIA — There will be no mail delivery or retail services at Columbia post offices Wednesday in honor of Veterans Day. Customers can still use an automated postal center at either the Columbia Post Office, 511 E. Walnut St., or the Jefferson City Post Office, 1750 Jefferson St.

All state offices will be closed for Veterans Day also. Excluding the Sheriff's Department, which will keep its regular hours, all Boone County offices will be closed.

All Columbia city offices and public schools will remain open with regular hours.
