COLUMBIA — A study recently released by the National Center for Education Statistics revealed that Missouri has some of the toughest standards in the country for measuring reading and math proficiency. The study looked at proficiency on the fourth and eighth grade levels. Columbia Missourian reporter Michelle Hagopian joined KBIA's Eric Durban on "The Beat" to discuss the latest findings.
