COLUMBIA — An already talented 2010 recruiting class for the Missouri men's basketball team got an added boost Sunday when Tony Mitchell, a five-star recruit, made a verbal commitment, according to the Mizzou Basketball facebook account.

The update said: "HUGE verbal commitment from five start Tony Mitchell!! Mitchell is ranked as the 15th best player in the country by Rivals!"

Mitchell, a 6-foot-6 forward, plays for Dallas Pinkston High School. He'll join a group that includes fellow Dallas native Phil Pressey as well as Kadeem Green (Charlotte, NC) and Rick Kreklow (Columbia).
