Missouri's Danario Alexander was named the Big 12 Conference Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in Saturday's football game at Kansas State.
The senior wide receiver caught 10 passes for 200 yards against the Wildcats and helped the Tigers to a 38-12 win. His performance last weekend marked his second
consecutive game with 200 receiving yards. Against Baylor, he had 13 catches for 214 yards.
With this recognition, Alexander becomes the first wide receiver in the Big 12 to win the honor twice in the same season. The Tigers will face Iowa State in their final home game of the season at 1 p.m. Saturday in Columbia.
