Hickman boys basketball team wins Marshall tournament

The Hickman boys basketball team came from behind Friday night to defeat Warrensburg High School 53-44 in the championship game of the Marshall High School tournament.

The Kewpies trailed by seven points after the third quarter. Two minutes into the fourth, the game was tied.

Three players had double figures for Hickman, including 15 points from Lyle Harris, 11 from Marcus Whitt and 10 from Josh Williams.

Hickman next plays at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, when it takes on Poplar Bluff in the Norm Stewart Classic.
