Douglass basketball team wins first game of season

The Douglass boys basketball team won its first game of the season 70-45 over Prairie Home on Monday night at the Jamestown tournament.

Lorenzo Estes' 19 points and 9 assists led the Bulldogs (1-2), who held a 33-21 advantage at halftime. Tanner Cassil had 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Chartez Westbrook also scored 15, and Justin Myers had 10 points.

Douglass plays tournament host Jamestown at 9 p.m. Tuesday.
