COLUMBIA — A woman was arrested in connection to shots fired at an unoccupied vehicle in the 1700 block of Stanford Drive on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

No one was injured in the incident.

According to the press release, Lauren A. Tauber, 21, turned herself in at the police station at noon Wednesday but refused to make a statement about her involvement in the incident.

Although six .40-caliber shell casings have been recovered from the scene of the incident, "a gun has not been recovered yet," said spokeswoman and Officer Jessie Haden.

Tauber was arrested on warrants for armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and tampering with a motor vehicle. Bail was set for $9,000.
