UPDATE: Tipster on Dickinson Court arson could have big payday

COLUMBIA — Someone with information on a Dec. 30 burglary and arson at 2107 Dickinson Court could receive several thousand dollars if his or her information leads to an arrest.

The homeowner, Samantha Baker, is offering $1,000 per arrest made for information about the fire that led to the death of her pit bull, Fancy, and caused $150,000 in damage to her home.

The Missouri Advisory Committee on Arson Prevention offers up to $5,000 for tips that lead to an arrest on its arson hot line, (800) 39-ARSON.

CrimeStoppers also offers up to $1,500 for tips about certain crimes that lead to an arrest. Call (573) 875-TIPS, report tips online at or via text message. When submitting a tip via text, the tipster must send the message 875tips, a space and then the tip to 59925.
