Columbia College women's basketball team tops Stephens

COLUMBIA — The Columbia College women's basketball team defeated host Stephens College 90-56 on Saturday at Silverthorne Arena to stay undefeated in American Midwest Conference play at 4-0. The victory also extended the Cougars' winning streak to 16 games.

Janita Session led Columbia College with 16 points and six steals. Kirsti Wilkerson and Rachel Oswald each scored 12 points.

Stephens College fell to 7-7 overall and 0-3 in AMC play.

The Cougars's next game is set for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hannibal-LaGrange.
