Columbia School Board candidates named

COLUMBIA — When Columbia voters go to the polls on April 6, they can choose from five candidates for the Columbia School Board. The deadline to file for candidacy was 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Three seats are open: two three-year terms and a one-year term.

The candidates are incumbents Jan Mees and James Whitt, and Dan Holt, Jonathan Sessions and Philip Peters Jr.
