Business owner to run for presiding commissioner

COLUMBIA — J. Scott Christianson, 41, announced today that he would be filing candidacy for Boone County Presiding Commissioner in the Democratic primary.

Christianson is a local business owner who has worked in the computer and telecommunications field for 11 years.

Current Presiding Commissioner Ken Pearson announced Jan. 14 that he will not seek re-election.
