CAPE GIRARDEAU — Former "America's Got Talent" winner Neal E. Boyd will be back in the area where he grew up to perform with the Southeast Missouri Symphony Orchestra next week.

The concert at the Southeast Missouri State University River Campus stage in Cape Girardeau is at 8 p.m. on Feb. 5. Boyd is a native of Sikeston, about 30 miles south of Cape Girardeau.

The Southeast Missourian reports that the show will feature a symphonic pop concert with Boyd as the special guest. Boyd will perform four songs from his album, "My American Dream," which was released in June.
