Squirrel eviction in Peace Park

Landscape Services employees Ryan Russell, in tree, and Austin Lampe install a support system in a tree Tuesday in Peace Park in an attempt to save the tree from removal.

Landscape Services employees Ryan Russell, in tree, and Austin Lampe install a support system in a tree in Peace Park on Tuesday in an attempt to save the tree from removal. A cavity has formed in the tree because of extensive damage from squirrels.

"We've kind of evicted them," Landscape Services employee William Branch said.

Landscape Services installed a cable in the tree to support the limb with the cavity.
