Missouri softball hosts Black and Gold game Saturday

COLUMBIA – The Missouri softball team will host its annual Black and Gold game Saturday at the Devine Pavilion. Admission is free.

Coming off a 50-win season, which included a Women’s College World Series berth, the Tigers enter the season with a No. 8 ranking, according to the USA Today/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) and the Softball preseason Top 25 polls. Missouri returns 15 players.

The Tigers open the season Feb. 13-14 in Tuscaloosa, Ala., for a three-game series against No. 2 Alabama.
