LETTER: Come learn how to keep your neighborhood safe

Wednesday, February 10, 2010 | 11:28 a.m. CST

Learn what you can do to help make your neighborhood safer. Please attend the Winter Quarter Ward 3 Neighborhood Safety Summit and Town Hall Meeting this Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Blue Ridge Elementary School cafeteria, 3700 Woodland Drive.

Come meet Third Ward Councilman Karl Skala and several other community leaders, including Police Chief Ken Burton, members of the command staff, patrol officers for the Third Ward and Neighborhood Services Director Leigh Britt. A neighborhood crime progress report, an update since last September's meeting, will be presented. Get involved in your Neighborhood Watch Program. Come meet your neighbors.
