COLUMBIA — No arrests were made in an early morning scuffle Saturday involving two starting MU football players and a freshman quarterback.

Quarterbacks and brothers Blaine and Tyler Gabbert and linebacker Andrew Gachkar were involved in a fight at 1:26 a.m. Saturday inside Gumby's Pizza at 1201 E. Broadway. The fight was over by the time officers arrived on scene a minute later, Columbia Police Sergeant Don Hawkins said.

According to a police report, the fight started in the men's restroom and involved two other men.

Tyler Gabbert's nose was bloodied according to the report, which also said those involved were "to varying degrees intoxicated." Gachkar is the only one of the three MU football players involved of legal drinking age.
