Columbia College men come back to beat Missouri Baptist University

Four Columbia College men scored in double figures as the Cougars beat Missouri Baptist University 72-51 Thursday night in St. Louis.

Aleksander Eric lead that attack with 19 points. Quintin Totta had 17, Kaleb Turner 12 and Greg Stegeman 10 as the Courgars take revenge for an early season loss to the Spartans.

Back on January 21st, the Spartans edged the Cougars 78-71.

The Cougars trailed 25-22 at the break but took the lead for good with seven minutes to go in the game.

 

The Cougars are now 9-18 overall and 3-8 in American Midwest Conference play. The Spartans are 13-13 overall and 5-6.

Columbia will play its last home game of the season Thursday February 25th when they host Harris-Stowe State University. Before that game, seniors Totta and Vitaly Ahmedov will be recognized.
