BRANSON — Branson Airport officials say the airport will add flights to five new cities beginning May 17.

The Springfield News-Leader reports that ExpressJet Airlines will offer flights five days a week to Houston; Austin, Texas, and Des Moines, Iowa. Flights will be offered three days a week to Shreveport, La., and Terre Haute, Ind.

Airport officials announced Tuesday that the service will be called Branson AirExpress. It will be operated by a partnership between Branson Airport and airports in the five cities.
