JEFFERSON CITY — Lincoln University will begin offering a master's degree in Environmental Science beginning this fall.

The Jefferson City News Tribune reported that the Missouri Department of Higher Education recently approved the degree. The school will be the only central Missouri university to offer it.

A summary of the program says it "will explore the relationships between people and the totality of their environment — natural and built-up."
