COLUMBIA — Missouri's Chelsea Thomas was named Big 12 Softball Pitcher of the week Monday.

Thomas, a sophomore right-hander, went 3-0 against No. 4 Michigan, No. 18 Louisana Lafayette and Radford in last weekend's 2010 Leadoff Classic in Columbus, Ga., striking out 26 batters, issuing one walk and posting a 2.67 ERA. Thomas, who won the award for the second time in her career, improved to 6-1 this season.

Wednesday's doubleheader between No. 4 Missouri and Southern Illinois-Edwardsville has been postponed and rescheduled for April 13.
