The Columbia College softball team pushed its overall record to 6-2 Saturday with two wins in the second day of the Union University Invitational. The Cougars faced Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) University in their first outing of the day, winning 8-1. Columbia then went on to stop Union (Tenn.) University 6-2.
Columbia returns to the field on Tuesday in St. Louis, Mo. to take on the Lions of Lindenwood University for a doubleheader scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
