Two teens injured in accident on Route O

COLUMBIA — A Saturday morning accident on Route O left two Columbia teenagers with moderate injuries.

Just after 9 a.m., a car traveling on Route O traveling southbound driven by Shelby R. Brockman, 17, went off the right side of the road, overcorrected and went off the left side of the road. The 2005 Nissan Altima overturned just south of Brome Road.

Brockman and passenger Raven M. McAfee, also 17, were taken to University Hospital where they were treated and released. Both were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
