PrintSal Nuccio, 42, has owned and operated Eastside Tavern for the last 12½ years. The union pipefitters sent Nuccio to the Midwest from New Jersey, where he grew up. Nuccio worked for about six months in the pipefitting business before being laid off.
Nuccio announced that he intended to run for the First Ward seat in 2007 but dropped out of the race two days before the filing period. He has not been attending candidate forums.
