In this audio slideshow, Bob Washington, an assistant coach for the Missouri School for the Deaf, voices the words signed by senior player Donte' Darrington.

A senior on the Missouri School for the Deaf's basketball team talks about his last game and what basketball means to him. His signed words are being voiced by Assistant Coach Bob Washington.

Here's a script of the audio in the slideshow:

(Basketball bounces)

DARRINGTON: Sometimes I make mistakes and get frustrated.

WASHINGTON: Probably with your teammates?

DARRINGTON: Most of the time we cooperate. Yes.

(Crowd noise)

DARRINGTON: I’ve played against hearing teams and played hard. My team, sometimes they don’t understand in the game, and sometimes I make mistakes and I get frustrated.

DARRINGTON: I love the game. I’ve been playing for a long time. And the games are finished. I’m going to miss playing basketball here at MSD – Missouri School for the Deaf. My time is out now. I’ve had a lot of experience from middle school now to high school. Now I’m graduating. Now I’m going to miss basketball very much.

How ironic that this article is about a deaf student from Missouri school for the Deaf and is on a video with sounds and no text for deaf individuals to read to know what the video is saying, there's no subtitles in the videos. What's up with this?

You're right; there should be text. The video piece has the complete script below the video.

This one should as well.

Make sure you've clicked the "captions" feature ON while you watch the slide show. It's on the bottom right. That will provide some detailed captions for the slides as they go by.
