Clerk shot, killed at Kansas City convenience store

KANSAS CITY — A convenience store clerk in Kansas City has been shot and killed during a robbery attempt.

The Kansas City Star reports that the robbery attempt at the 7-Eleven occurred early Wednesday.

The clerk was shot at least once and managed to called 911 to report that he had been shot in the abdomen. He later died.

Additional details were not immediately available.

Idea, why not have a patrolmen on site at most gas stations to prevent these type of robberies from occuring. Just a thought but criminals always choose gas stations to try and rob.
