JEFFERSON CITY — A top aide to Missouri's attorney general got to know the state especially well in the past 12 months.

Attorney General Chris Koster said Public Education Director Tom Durkin has held meetings on Missouri's open government laws in almost all 114 counties and the city of St. Louis.

Durkin plans to visit Holt County in April. Meetings in the five remaining counties are still to be scheduled.

Koster announced last March that his office would provide education on Missouri's Sunshine Law to public officials in every county.
