LETTER: Greever-Rice strong in education, parenting

Progressive education and good parenting are crucial issues in Columbia. Tracy Greever-Rice is a 4th ward council candidate who places these values at the top of her priority list. In her neighborhood, she plays a central role in efforts to provide a healthy and stable environment for children. Ms. Greever-Rice understands that good relationships with neighbors are central to providing healthy places for children to grow. Also, she will support and work with Columbia Public Schools so that the schools have the funding to expand as our city grows. Using funding in transparent ways is mandatory for Ms. Greever-Rice. She understands our schools will only be supported if the entire community is involved in decision-making processes. Tracy has the best combination of first-hand experience and passion for these issues to ensure that education and parenting remain central in our future.
