LETTER: Greever-Rice listens to residents, deserves trust

Wednesday, March 31, 2010 | 9:28 a.m. CDT; updated 2:52 p.m. CDT, Wednesday, March 31, 2010

I trust Tracy Greever-Rice. How often is the word trust used in the same sentence with a political candidate? In this day and time, not often.

Tracy earned my trust through her interactions with our neighborhood association. She displayed a moral consciousness. She enabled our neighborhood to be actively involved in the political process. She exhibited a genuine concern for residents affected by council decisions. Her sincere willingness to listen and to actually discuss neighborhood fears impressed me and the members of my association.

Citizen input is vital in the development of older established neighborhoods. I trust Tracy- Greever Rice. She will ensure that everyone has a voice. Please vote on April 6 for Tracy Greever-Rice for the Fourth Ward city council seat.
