LETTER: Jan Mees' decision making renders her a good school board candidate

Monday, March 29, 2010 | 4:25 p.m. CDT; updated 3:09 p.m. CDT, Wednesday, March 31, 2010

Three years ago, I supported Jan Mees for Columbia School Board. I am more than pleased to do this again. Jan has been an excellent representative of our school district. During her first term, she has had to make difficult decisions. To do so, she has studied the issues, worked with staff and talked with teachers, parents and other interested persons in the community before making her decision. I have great confidence in her leadership and strong desire to do what is best for our children and youth.

Please join me in voting for Jan Mees on April 6!
