I am voting for Tracy Greever-Rice for City Council and I urge you to do the same. I have seen Tracy in a leadership position. She has the qualities needed on council: She is strong and principled; she listens carefully and is never defensive. She will take the position very seriously, but she will not be impressed with her own status. She will still be our neighbor. We can be sure that she will be effective: Tracy has a strong record and experience. She will make a real difference from the start. What sort of difference? This is the best reason to vote for Tracy. Tracy will help preserve and enhance the distinctive qualities of the Fourth ward and all of Columbia. She will not be swayed by powerful interests pushing for uncontrollable growth and will make sure Columbia remains a manageable city whose quality of life is high and whose citizens collectively determine its political and economic future.
LETTER: Greever-Rice relies on strong record, experience
