LETTER: Greever-Rice's energy, intelligence evident

COLUMBIA — Tracy Greever-Rice is the best candidate for the Fourth Ward’s City Council seat and will make an excellent city council member. I have known Tracy since her student days when she worked at Shakespeare’s. Her energy and intelligence were then already evident, and her thirst for knowledge and desire for service have only grown since.

Tracy’s life experience includes higher education, marriage, children, home ownership, and a career, all in Columbia, Missouri. She has served Columbia through her home owner’s association, neighborhood association, and city panels including the Planning and Zoning Commission. Bound by no mere ideology, beholden to no special interest, uncompromising in her desire for factual knowledge, and committed to the best interest of our city as a whole, Tracy will prove an outstanding member of city council.

I urge the voters of the Fourth Ward elect Tracy Greever-Rice to the city council.

Daniel Jordan is a Columbia resident.
