Missouri softball game suspended until Saturday

COLUMBIA- The Missouri softball game against Oklahoma State was suspended due to rain in the fourth inning on Friday night. The game will resume at noon Saturday with the score tied 3-3 and Oklahoma State at bat.

The Tigers scored took an early 3-0 lead in the second inning off after a two-RBI double by  junior Marla Schweisberger and a suicide-squeeze RBI by junior Megan Christopher.

The score was 3-1 in the fourth inning when Oklahoma State scored two runs off a home run by Cowgirl shortstop Chelsea Garcia.

The game will resume with Oklahoma State outfielder Kelsey Anchors at-bat with a 3-1 count, one out and the bases empty. Game two between the teams will start about 20 minutes after the end of game 1.
