Children participated in an egg hunt, face painting, and other activities Saturday at Douglass Park for the Easter Eggstravaganza.

Violet Sieli, eighteen months, looks around for more eggs as the Easter EGGstravaganza egg hunt comes to a close. Organizers had to relocate parts of the egg hunt in order to avoid rain-soaked areas of Douglass Park.
Ava Beary, 4, right, and brother Isaac, 2, sort through the Easter candy they collected during the Easter EGGstravaganza egg hunt.
Seongmin Lee, 3, gathers eggs during the Easter EGGstravaganza egg hunt at Douglass Park on Saturday. More than 2,600 eggs were filled with candy before the event, said Camren Cross of the Columbia Parks and Recreation Department.
