Rock Bridge soccer team rolls in season opener

The Rock Bridge girls soccer team won its season opener Tuesday, rolling to a 7-0 victory at Hannibal.

Kelsey Reimler netted a hat trick for the Bruins, scoring once in the first half and twice in the second. Kelsey Wittet scored twice in the first half, and Sarah Humphrey and Anna Alioto each scored single goals in the second half.

Kayla Hauck had two assists and Humphrey and Carmen Boessen each had single assists. Goaltender Stephanie Monticelli earned the shutout with four saves.

Rock Bridge plays next on Thursday at Helias in Jefferson City.
