Rock Bridge soccer team wins in penalty-kick overtime

The Rock Bridge girls soccer team won 2-1 in a penalty-kick overtime Thursday at Helias.

Sarah Humphrey sent in the winning penalty kick to win the shootout. Rock Bridge (2-0) came back from a 1-0 deficit when Adrian Kelly tied the game with a goal off a cornerkick from Morgan Pitchford about 20 minutes into the second half. Helias went ahead first with a goal about 2 minutes into the second half.

Rock Bridge plays its home opener Saturday against Lindbergh.
