COLUMBIA — Bushes just outside the southwest corner of MU's Memorial Union caught fire Saturday afternoon, but caused only minor damage to the building.

The Columbia Fire Department was dispatched at 1:56 p.m.

The heat from the fire cracked a window on the building, and Lt. Randy White said the damage was estimated at $500 to $750 dollars.

White said the reason the fire started hasn't been determined.
