COLUMBIA — Heavy rains have left many roads in Columbia and Boone County covered in deep water, leaving some roads inaccessible and drivers stranded.

Part of Boone County was under a flash flood warning until 10 p.m. Saturday, and heavy rain is expected to continue into Saturday night, the National Weather Service said.

Public Safety Joint Communications said Saturday that roadways to avoid in Boone County include:

  • Rangeline Road
  • Northbound U.S. 63
  • Blackfoot Road
  • Missouri 163
