Columbia receives a spring cleaning after more than 1,500 people volunteer for the annual event "Cleanup Columbia."   

The volunteers were given trash bags during Cleanup Columbia on Saturday to leave on the side of the road. Volunteers picked up more than 1,600 bags of trash during the event.
The Delta Upsilon fraternity cleaned Stadium Boulevard from College Avenue to Old Highway 63 during Cleanup Columbia on Saturday. More than 1,500 people volunteers participated the annual event “Cleanup Columbia.”
