Julia Potter, a junior at MU and the No. 1 player on the Tigers' women's golf team, has three top-five finishes in the four tournaments the Tigers have played this fall. Last summer, she qualified for the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship in Eugene, Ore.

Missouri senior Julia Potter has earned a bid to the NCAA Central Regional, announced Monday.

It's Potter's fourth straight year playing in an NCAA Regional. The Central Regional is played May 6-8 at Otter Creek Golf Club in Columbia, Ind.

Potter, a native of Granger, Ind., was one of three individuals selected to the Central Regional. Last summer, she took second place at the Indiana State Women's Amateur Championship played at Otter Creek Golf Club.

Potter has placed in the top 10 in each of her last four events, including a fourth-place showing this past weekend in the Big 12 Championships.

Potter best career finish at Regionals is a 10th place showing at the 2008 East Regional.
