Hickman girls track team wins Parkway South Invite

The Hickman girls track and field team won the 17-team Parkway South Invitational on Saturday in Manchester. The Kewpies scored 84 points, and Jefferson City was second with 78.

Sarah Hall won the shot put (41 feet) and discus (124-10) for Hickman, which also had seconds from Jamela Kimbrough (:25.54 in the 200 meters) and Darrianna Wilson (16-6 1/2 in the long jump). Victoria Jackson was third in the 100-meter hurdles (15.7) and the Kewpies' 4x400-meter relay of Kimbrough, Justina Olisa, Corey Potter and Nasia Stevenson also placed third (4:08).
