Columbia Transit offers free rides Thursday

COLUMBIA – Columbia Transit will allow passengers to ride anywhere in Columbia for free all day Thursday in a campaign to improve the environment, save gas and reduce traffic congestion.

The normal cost to use the transit system ranges from fifty cents to one dollar.

The transit system is handicap accessible, and buses are equipped with bike racks. To check out routes and schedules, visit the transit Web site.
