Missouri's Fleming earns softball honors

COLUMBIA — Missouri sophomore Ashley Fleming was named the Big 12 Conference Softball Player of the Week and the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Week on Tuesday.
Fleming had a .769 batting average last week including three doubles. She also had a 1.462 slugging percentage and .789 on-base percentage.
Fleming is only the second player at Missouri to be named the Collegiate Player of the Week. Janessa Roening was the first in 2005.
