MoDOT, Amtrak giving away baseball tickets

JEFFERSON CITY — The Missouri Department of Transportation and Amtrak are giving away free train travel and tickets to Royals and Cardinals baseball games this summer.

The prizes will be awarded by random drawing to two people who register by June 8 at

The Cardinals prize package includes four tickets to the July 17 home game against the Dodgers, one night's stay at a St. Louis hotel and four round-trip tickets on Amtrak's Missouri River Runner.

For the winner of the Royals package, there are four tickets to Kansas City's June 26 home game against the Cardinals, one free night at a hotel and four Missouri River Runner tickets.

Amtrak's Missouri River Runner makes eight stops across the state between Kansas City and St. Louis.
