COLUMBIA – Police have arrested a man in connection to the armed robbery of a Wise Guys pizza delivery driver that occurred early Sunday.

A 17-year-old juvenile male was arrested Thursday around 8 p.m. after being stopped while riding in a 1998 Toyota Camry with license plates registered to another vehicle.

The male, who was a passenger in the vehicle, had been identified as a possible suspect in the robbery. He was wearing a necklace that matched the description of the one stolen from the delivery driver, according to a news release from the Columbia Police Department.

He was arrested on suspicion of first-degree robbery and was taken to the Boone County Jail. His bond is set at $100,000, the release said.

He is seventeen years old and therefore legally an adult, which is why I provided his name and mugshot. He is not a juvenile.
