Rock Bridge golfers in third at state tournament

Rock Bridge is in third place at the Class 4 boys state golf tournament after the first round of play Monday at Sedalia Country Club.

Glendale and Rockhurst lead the team standings at 302 with the Bruins at 304 and Popular Bluff in fourth at 307.

Hickman golfer Taylor Cox is in a five-way tie for seventh at 73, and Rock Bridge's Wilson Sundvold is in a six-way tie for 12th at 74. Teammate Tyler Kolb is in a 11-way tie for 24th at 76.
